The Xenon XPad 10 managed to perform well on tasks that matter and was able to handle apps that most people use. You’ll have a hard time looking for other tablets with these specs that command the same price tag. But even if the price is so cheap, the tablet is still offering 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage that’s expandable up to 32GB. That explains the 1GHz single-core processor. In order to reach the cheap price point, Xenon obviously needed to sacrifice some specs. For the price, it is one good looking tablet with a finish that looks and feels premium. This it was able to prove during my extensive use. What it offers for the very affordable price of P7,999 is a sufficiently decent tablet that performs well. It’s not offering cutting edge specs or blazing fast performance. The Xenon XPad 10 does not pretend to be what it’s not. That’s a lot of juice for a tablet this size.

In terms of battery life, I was able to squeeze about 12 to 16 hours of use from the XPad 10’s huge 5600mAh battery. The Xenon XPad 10 gathered a 1983 score on Quadrant tests and 3239 on AnTuTu benchmark test, not impressive by current standards but for the price you’re paying for this tablet, these are very satisfactory. Running graphics-intensive games shows the tablet’s limits but in most instances, it is able handle these games. You’ll experience the occasional hiccup in some apps but not to a point that it becomes an issue. Angry Birds and Temple Run 2, for instance, played rather well on the Xenon XPad 10. It was able to handle the most popular games easily and multitasking was smooth most of the time. The Xenon XPad 10 is surprisingly fast for its rather basic set of specs. Xenon XPad 10 – Performance, Battery Life For a tablet that has a very cheap price tag, the Xenon XPad 10 looks more expensive than its actual worth. There is sufficient contrast and the colors are rendered accurately.

Its display is sharp and bright enough and it has good viewing angles. The display on the Xenon XPad 10 is an excellent tablet for the price.

The bezels are thin, which is exactly how I like them, and it has a metallic grey finish, although from all indications the back cover is made of plastic material, not aluminum. It has rounded corners and curved edges at the back, making it comfortable to hold and use. The Xenon XPad 10 has a rounded design, much like the Samsung tablets that are the market. This time, this review is about the 10-inch Xenon XPad 10. I already posted a review of the 7-inch XPad 7. The brand has two tablets currently available locally, the Xenon XPad 7 (XP-702) and the Xenon XPad 10 (XP-1001). One such brand to have joined the fray is Xenon. Almost everyone is trying to tap into the highly lucrative tablet market.
